Missing Child

If a child is missing, 911 will be immediately called and then the parents/guardians.

Abduction and Violent Attack
If an abduction of a child occurs by a non-custodial parent or by an unauthorized person, 911 will be called immediately. Parent/guardian will be notified immediately after 911.

Evacuation Plan

Children will be evacutated to YMCA located at 217 Ashcake Road, Ashland, VA 23005 should TTCC be unsafe to fire, flooding, tornato, or any emergency, except chemical spill.

For chemical spill or emergency that would also involve the YMCA, TTCC will evacuate to Hanover Academy located at 117 Frances Road, Ashland, VA 23005 OR follow instructions of the local emergency response team.

During any emergency evacuation, children will be transported by TTCC buses, vans or employee cars. TTCC will take children's emergency file, pick up authorizations, medication and First Aid kits. Complete Emergency Evacuation Plans are available upon request.

TTCC will conduct monthly fire, tornado, earthquake and/or intruder drills.

Recalls

TTCC will post a list of notifications of recalls and remove any recalled items from the center immediately.
